Florida Frozen/Refrigerated Group Paints Houses of Needy

Association Joins in “˜Paint Your Heart Out Tampa’ on April 17

For the fifteenth year, the Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association of Central Florida (FRFCF) took part in the annual Paint Your Heart Out Tampa charity event. On April 17, teams from different organizations painted the outside of 88 homes for Tampa homeowners. These homeowners qualified if their income was below the poverty level, and their houses needed painting.

The FRFCF team of 28 volunteers from local food companies painted the home of D. Andretta. They also worked hard in her yard, pulling weeds, cleaning flowerbeds and planting low-maintenance shrubs and trees for her to enjoy.

“Please know how much I appreciate all you and your coworkers did,” Ms. Andretta told FRFCF. “My home is beautiful. I am truly blessed by you and your crew. I will be mailing a thank you card, but please know how much I appreciate all that you all did,” she said.

“This is just another way we can give back to the community that supports us in so many ways,” said Linda Lamberson, president of FRFCF.
