Sabra to Buy California Creative Foods’ Dip Business
Sabra Dipping Co will buy the refrigerated dips business of California Creative Foods for $33 million, Reuters quoted Israeli food maker Strauss Group as saying.
Sabra is owned equally by Strauss and PepsiCo. The deal is expected to be completed this year, and includes assets involved in the production, marketing and sale of refrigerated dips and salsa, according to Reuters. CCF’s revenue in 2009 was reportedly about $35 million.
