Kroeker Leaving Dean’s Fresh Dairy Direct

Harrald Kroeker, president of the division since January 2008, is leaving “to pursue other interests.”

The division, which processes milk and ice cream, had sales of $8.5 billion, accounting for aobut 76% of company sales.

In an unrelated move, Chris Sliva has been promoted to chief commercial officer, a new position. He had been president of the Morningstar division, which sells private label dairy products. In the new post, he’ll develop selling strategies for key accounts.
