Stater Bros. Observing Moment of Silence in all Stores
Stater Bros. Supermarkets, San Bernardino, Calif., will observe a moment of silence on Memorial Day at 3 p.m. in all 167 of its stores.
Store managers will ask customers and employees inside the stores to pause for 60 seconds to honor soldiers who have died in service to our country.
“Memorial Day was originally established to commemorate America’s fallen men and women,” said Jack H. Brown, chairman and CEO. “Stater Bros. would like to do our part to remind our customers and employees that this is still a sacred and noble holiday and a time when we can all connect as Americans.”
