Zero Zone Gives to Our Overseas Troops

In honor of Zero Zone’s 50th anniversary, the company decided to give a gift to the overseas troops this month. Zero Zone collected and donated more than five thousand dollars to Operation Homefront, a national organization that provides emergency financial and other assistance to service members and their families.

“We’re proud of our employees,”says Carl Petersen, marketing and advertising manager at Zero Zone. “We asked our North Prairie, Wisconsin, and our Ramsey, Minnesota, locations to donate money to Operation Homefront. Our employees raised the money, the company then matched those contributions, so we were able to present Operation Homefront Wisconsin with a check for $5,049. The money will be used to create care packages for our Wisconsin and Minnesota troops serving overseas. This is our way of saying thank you and letting them know we’re thinking of them, while giving them a little piece of home until they return.”
