RLS Achieves 99+% Accuracy on Perfect Order Index

Malaga, NJ --(February 22, 2010)—RLS Logistics reported a year-end Perfect Order Index  (POI) of 99.63% exceeding the continuous improvement goal the Company set for themselves at the beginning of the 2009 business year.  “ We take customer service very seriously, says Kevin McVey, Vice President of Sales and Marketing,  ‘Customer Service’ is more than just words or a feel good concept, it’s an actionable and measurable commitment to our customers. The POI tracks the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s picking, packing, loading, shipping, delivery and billing processes on a weekly basis.  This management tool allows everyone at RLS to focus on our customers and our service and be proactive in our thinking.” he continued.

Currently the RLS POI program tracks the following processes:

Distribution/Transportation – OS&D accuracy and on-time delivery

Warehousing –shipping and inventory accuracy as well as length of service at the docks

Packaging –on-time shipping and OS&D accuracy for shipments handled by the packaging division
